True North Mittens are handcrafted with pre-washed 10 ounce domestic cotton canvas with supple 4 ounce domestic Elk Leather palms and thumbs. We cover the top of your fingers with leather for unbeatable durability, so grab your splitting maul, and head for the yard. They're naturally heat resistant too. Campfire sparks and hot pan handles won't leave your hands clad in melting goo. Our liners come from the same cozy blanket material we use for shirts and coats. 

True North Mittens are wide enough to accommodate a liner glove for use in deep cold. We've stitched lashing tabs to the top of the shells for the gear that you need to keep close at hand, and Delrin loop to the cuffs anchor your leashes. Shells and liners separate for drying.
